If the holiday season has you feeling tired and stressed out, take an hour or two out of your day to relax at Columbia Gorge Community Acupuncture, the host of December’s Green Drinks networking event.

Our December Green Drinks event, set for December 15, 2010, 6-8 p.m., will unveil the mysterious benefits of acupuncture and provide some helpful tips for reducing stress during this hectic season of the year. We’ll also learn about Ekone Ranch and the White Eagle Memorial Preserve, a “green” burial ground founded in 2008 and licensed by the state of Washington.

Beer will be provided by Full Sail and Coffee and Tea by Dog River Coffee. Our hosts are donating raffle prizes, including a trail ride for two at Ekone Ranch. Green Drinks asks for a suggested donation of $5 to support what has become THE networking event for Gorge residents interested in sustainability issues.

As always, Green Drinks is an opportunity to connect with current and future members of the Gorge Owned Business Network (GO!), a membership-based organization working to advance Gorge-owned businesses with a commitment to a sustainable and prosperous community. GO! is a project of the Columbia Gorge Earth Center.
